I recall my attendance as freelance Press at the wonderful AFI FEST 2011 presented by AUDI, in Hollywood, California,where I swanked between the venues of the Chinese Theater, and the famous Hollywood Rooselvelt Hotel, to attend this wonderful Film Festival and view the wonderful slate of films that were on offer.The hospitality by the Festival was wonderful and of course the best part of the festival was that the public were able to see films for free. I highly recommend this year's AFI FEST 2013 presented by AUDI Film Festival to filmmakers, film enthusiasts and the general public alike. I had the privilege of some red carpet action with Luc Besson, Michele Yeoh and the cast on the red carpet at the Chinese theater's premiere of 'The Lady'. Academy Award -winning actor Al Pacino will be the  recipient of the inaugural JACK VALENTI - L.A., ITALIA LEGEND AWARD,  by noted Italian filmmaker Lina Wertmuller, honorary chairman of the  Istituto Capri nel Mondo, the  governing body of the Los Angeles, Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Fest . Named in memory of longtime  MPAA president Jack Valenti, it is the festival’s highest honor and it will be given annually to an outstanding Italian-American who has made major contributions to the global motion picture industry.
